The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey as well as by the U.S. and the European Union. The US-led coalition airstrikes, which continued in the night and the morning, are helping but are not enough”, he added, calling for arms and ammunition to be supplied to the Kurdish fighters. Hours after two of the group's black flags were raised on the outskirts of the town on Monday, the militants punctured the Kurdish frontlines and advanced into the town itself, said the local coordination committee.
