IŞİD'in, Suriye 'nin Halep kentine bağlı Kobani İlçesi'ndeki saldırılarını protesto eden 150 kişilik grup, akşam saatlerinde Beybahçe ve Vatan mahallelerinde toplandı. 

Polis, yüzlerini poşularla gizleyen çoğunluğu çocuklardan oluşan gruba dağılmaları yönünde uyarılarda bulundu. Yapılan uyarıları dikkate almayan gruptakilere polis su ve biber gazıyla müdahale etti.

Fighting between Isis fighters and Kurdish militia in the Syrian border town of Kobani has spread to new areas in the south and west. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and an activist from the town also reported new air strikes by a US-led coalition on the edges of the town overnight. Such is the desperation to defend the town that a Kurdish female fighter blew herself up during fighting on Sunday to kill 10 jihadists. The activists are demanding more help for the besieged Kurdish forces struggling to hold onto the Syrian town of Kobani. Some European countries are arming the Kurds , and the American-led coalition is carrying out airstrikes against the Islamic extremists, but protesters say it isn't enough. A demonstrator in Cyprus urged the coalition to hit the jihadists harder” so that Kurdish forces can hold the town. It was too hard to get a flat in Orfa town for $2,000 a year, 30km from the Turkish borders. Lots of Kobani refugees are hanging on in parks and roads now for lack of money. My brothers decided to stay at home to protect our house and fight with the PKK but they were ordered to leave last week as they are civilians who lack military training. The Washington Post's Erin Cunnigham writes that Isis are using water as a weapon , cutting off supplies to villages resisting the group. Isis has shown much aptitude in the use of social media to spread its message. It has now issued 11 rules for journalists covering the group.
