PKK Lideri Öcalan; Darbe ve Kaos Kapıda

mralı Adası'nda dün Abdullah Öcalan'la görüşen HDP heyeti yazılı bir açıklama yaptı. Açıklamada, Öcalan'ın daha önceki geri çekilme çağrıları için 'özeleştiri' verdiği ve 4-5 ay içinde çözüm gelişmemesi halinde 'darbe uyarısı' yaptığı belirtildi.

 PKK lideri Abdullah Öcalan'la, tutuklu bulunduğu İmralı Adası'nda dün bir görüşme gerçekleştiren HDP heyeti, bu görüşmenin içeriğine ilişkin bir açıklama yayınladı. Yapılan yazılı açıklamada, “Tarafların belirtilen hususlarda süreci doğru, ciddi ve kararlı yürütmesi halinde, en fazla 4-5 ay içinde tüm Ortadoğu'nun geleceğini belirleyecek büyük demokratik çözümün sağlanabileceğini vurgulayan Öcalan, bu ciddiyet ve kararlılığın gösterilmemesi durumunda, bölgesel kaosun derinleşeceği ve darbe mekaniğinin sonuç alabileceği uyarısını yapmıştır” denildi. Hatip Dicle'nin de heyete dahil olmasıyla gerçekleştirilen ziyaret öncesinde Öcalan'ın yeni bir 'eylemsizlik' çağrısı yapabileceği yorumları yapılıyordu. Ancak Öcalan'ın, böyle bir çağrı yapmadığı gibi daha önce yaptığı 'çekilme' çağrısından 'yanılsama' olarak söz etmesi dikkat çekti. Öcalan'ın daha önceki bazı açıklamalarında da dile getirdiği 'darbe mekaniği' kavramını tekrar kullanması da dünkü görüşmenin önemli bir ayrıntısı olarak kayda geçti.

İmralı Adası'nda dün Abdullah Öcalan ile görüşen Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, İdris Baluken ve Hatip Dicle'den oluşan HDP Heyeti, açıklama yaptı. Açıklamada, yaklaşık 4 saat süren görüşmede " AKP Hükümeti'nin mevcut politika ve yaklaşımları, Kürt Ulusal Kongre çalışmaları, Kobani ve Rojava başta olmak üzere Ortadoğu'daki gelişmeler ve diğer güncel olgular detaylı bir şekilde tartışılıp değerlendirilmiştir" denildi. 


‘DEVLET HEYETİYLE TARTIŞILIYOR’
HDP'den yapılan yazılı açıklamada, Öcalan'ın 'Barış ve Demokratik Müzakere Süreci Taslağı'nı olgunlaştırdığı ve devlet heyetiyle üzerinde tartıştıklarını söylediği vurgulandı. Açıklamada şöyle denildi:

“Sayın Öcalan, uzunca bir süredir üzerinde çalıştığı 'Barış ve Demokratik Müzakere Süreci Taslağı'nı genel hatlarıyla olgunlaştırdığını ve devlet heyetiyle detaylı bir şekilde üzerinde tartıştıklarını, gelinen nokta itibarıyla üzerinde müzakere yürütülebilecek bir çerçeve olduğu konusunda mutabık kaldıklarını belirtmiştir. Bu müzakere taslağı, heyetimizle de paylaşılmış olup en kısa zamanda halklarımızın da bilgi, öneri ve katkılarına sunulacaktır. Heyetimiz, paylaşılan bu taslakta belirtilen 'Çözüm Önerileri'ni, 'Müzakere Başlıkları'nı ve 'Eylem Planı'nı sürecin bütün tarafları ve paydaşlarıyla tartışıp, olgunlaştırarak, ortaya çıkan sonuçları en kısa süre içerinde Sayın Öcalan'a aktaracaktır.”


‘PKK'YA ÇEKİLME ÇAĞRISI YANILSAMAYDI’
HDP tarafından yapılan açıklamada, Öcalan'ın 'demokratik çözüm' ve 'yasal zemin' vurgusu yapılırken, sürecin bundan sonraki tüm aşamalarında, demokratik çözümün yasal güvencelerinin oluşturulmasının zorunluluk olduğu bu güvenceler sağlanmadan nihai barış ve demokrasi hedefine varmanın mümkün olmadığını vurguladığı kaydedildi. Açıklamada şöyle denildi:

“Bu kapsamda, hem Habur sürecinde barış gruplarının ülkeye girişleri ve devamında bu insanların maruz kaldığı kabul edilemez mahkumiyetler değerlendirilmiş, hem de sürecin başlangıcında gerillanın geri çekilme yürüyüşünün anlamlandırılmak yerine bölgeye dönük kalekol ve HES yapımına odaklanılmış olması etraflıca ele alınmıştır. Sayın Öcalan, yasal güvence sağlanmadan yaptığı bu çağrılarında yanılgılı olduğunu ve bu yanılgısından dolayı tümTürkiye halklarına öz eleştiri verdiğini belirtmiştir. Bu bağlamda; kendisinin yüksek ısrar ve uyarılarına rağmen, tüm bu süreçlerde gerekli yasal düzenlemeleri yapıp pratikleştirmeyen devleti ve hükümeti de meseleye öz eleştirel temelde yaklaşmaya çağırarak, buradan çıkarılacak derslerle bundan sonraki süreçte, özellikle yasal düzenlemeler bahsinde, kendi üzerlerine düşen sorumluluğu yerine getirmeye davet etmiştir.” 

‘KAOS DERİNLEŞİR, DARBE MEKANİĞİ SONUÇ ALABİLİR’
Öcalan'ın '4-5 ay içinde tüm Ortadoğu'nun geleceğini belirleyecek büyük demokratik çözümün sağlanabileceği' sözlerine yer verilen açıklama şöyle devam etti:

“Tarafların belirtilen hususlarda süreci doğru, ciddi ve kararlı yürütmesi halinde, en fazla 4-5 ay içinde tüm Ortadoğu'nun geleceğini belirleyecek büyük demokratik çözümün sağlanabileceğini vurgulayan Öcalan, bu ciddiyet ve kararlılığın gösterilmemesi durumunda, bölgesel kaosun derinleşeceği ve darbe mekaniğinin sonuç alabileceği uyarısını yapmıştır. Sayın Öcalan, anlamlı ve yasal tüm boşlukları giderilmiş müzakerelere geçilmesi durumunda tarafların 'Tahkim edilmiş bir ateşkes' ve bu ateşkesi denetleyecek bir 'İzleme Kurulu' oluşmasının önemine değinerek, süreçte bozucu bir alan olarak karşımıza çıkarılan kamu düzeninin de ancak ve kalıcı olarak bu şekilde sağlanabileceğini belirtmiştir. Sayın Öcalan, Kobani ve Şengal direnişinde yer alan halkımız başta olmak üzere, tüm Rojava ve Güney Kürdistan halkına, 21'inci yüzyılın onur savaşı diyebileceğimiz buradaki direnişle dayanışma içerisinde olan, katkı sunan bütün halklar ve siyasal yapılara özel selamlarını iletmiştir. Ayrıca, mücadelemizi Ortadoğu'dan çıkarıp tüm insanlığa taşıyan Kadın Hareketine ve cezaevlerinde bulunan bütün tutsaklara da özel selamlarını iletmiştir. 27 Kasım (PKK'nın kuruluş yıldönümü) vesilesiyle, insanlık mücadelemizi bugünlere taşıyan şehitleri saygıyla anarak bütün kadro yoldaşlarına da selam ve başarı dileklerini göndermiştir.”

But in this case the immediate solution is to help the Kurds and the Turks who are supporting them in Kobani however the US can. Right now that's airstrikes on daesh(ISIS). While they are on paper, our "ally", they are not in any way, kobani,kobane,ypg shape or form, "allied" with our tactical, strategic or political goals for the region, as failed and flawed as they are. Perhaps they are just really, really short-sighted. Or perhaps they are making a secret diplomacy with ISIS. In my discussion with President Obama, I emphasized the importance of the respect of the sovereignty of Iraq and the territorial integrity of Iraq. And as a Prime Minister of Iraq, I reaffirmed the importance for all forces that want to help Iraq to respect the sovereignty of Iraq and its territorial integrity. I am very thankful for President Obama and all the allies, all who are helping, for maintaining and respecting the territorial integrity of Iraq and its sovereignty. My fourth and final point is a simple one: the countries of the Arab and Muslim world must focus on the extraordinary potential of their people - especially the youth. You have demonstrated that when young people have kobani,kobane,ypg the tools to succeed -good schools; education in math and science; an economy that nurtures creativity and entrepreneurship - then societies will flourish. So America will partner with those who promote that vision. I'll agree with you that the League of Nations (which the US was not a part of, due to adopting isolationism, like so many progressives want to do today) did "stand around and allow Mussoliini" to invade League member Ethiopia and when Ethiopia surprisingly was kicking Italy's troops' ass, Mussolini decided to use gas on the population, and the League did absolutely nothing (which would be a policy advocated by today's progressives, sadly). But Ethopia's leader got Time Man Of The Year, so at least there's that.

İlk Bağımsız Kürdistan Devleti Kurulacak

Columbia Üniversitesi Barış ve İnsan Hakları Enstitüsü Direktörü David Phillips, “Irak Kürdistanı, yani dünyada bundan sonra ilan edilecek ilk bağımsız devlet olacak" dedi.

City University Of New York'a bağlı City College of NY Anthropology Bölümü öğrencilerine extra kredi niteliğinde Kobani konulu iki saatlik ders verildi. The Anthropology Club ile New York Rojava İnisiyatifi işbirliğinde ve Colin Powell School for Cıvıc and Global Leadership  sponsorluğunda gerçekleştirilen konferansa, öğrencilerin yanı sıra dışardan davetliler de katıldı.

 

Kobani konulu eğitim amaçlı konferans David Phillips moderatörlüğünde gerçekleşti. Konferansta PYD lideri Salih Müslim, gazeteci Mutlu Çiviroğlu ve Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Öğretim Görevlisi Nazan Üstündağ konuşmacı olarak yer aldı. 

 

Evsahibi olarak açış konuşmasını yapan Antropooji Bölümü profesörü Stan Thangaraj'dan sonra söz alan Phillips, ABD yönetiminin Kürt politikalarında bir an önce değişime gitmesi gerektiğini ifade etti. PKK'nin “terör örgütü” listesinden çıkartılmasını isteyen Phillips, PYD ile ilişki geliştirilmesi ve Irak Kürdistan Bölgesi'nin (KRG) bağımsızlığına destek verilmesini istedi.

 

Kobani'den sonraki gelişmeleri sıralayan Phillips, ABD'nin YPG'ye silah yardımı ve PYD ile görüşmesini önemine işaret ett. Phillips.  "Bu süreçte yaşanan gelişmeler Suriye Kürtleri ile PKK'yi bir araya getirdiği gibi, Irak Kürtleri ile bir araya gelmelerini ve dolayısıyla Kürt birliğini de sağladı" diye konuştu. 

 

Bölgede yaşanan gelişmelerin yakın gelecekte ciddi sonuçları olacağına dikkat çeken Phillips, şunları söyledi: 

 

Phillips, "Türk tankları, Kobani'de İŞİD'le sokak çatışmalarını Türkiye sınırındaki tepelerden izledi. Türk güvenlik güçleri, Kobani'ye destek için sınıra gelenlere saldırdı. Tam da böyle bir ortamda Erdoğan dedi ki 'PYD, PKK terör örgütü ile eşittir. İŞİD neyse PKK de odur. İkisini birbirinden ayırmak hatadır.' Bizler gibi demokrasiyi ve batı değerlerini benimseyen Kürtleri İŞİD ile bir tutmak bana göre büyük bir hakarettir. Erdoğan aynı zamanda ABD'nin Kobanı için verdiği mücadeleye yönelik suçlamalarda da bulundu. Oysa bizler çok iyi biliyoruz ki, Türkiye'nin 2012'den sonra İŞİD ve cihatçı gruplarla ilişkileri hakkında yeterince kanıt var" dedi.

 

Müslim: ABD ile devam etmek istiyoruz 

 

Konferansa Skype ile katılan PYD lideri Salih Müslim, İŞİD'in yalnızca yıkmayı, tahrip etmeyi ve katletmeyi hedef alan bir örgüt olduğunu belirterek, "İŞİD yalnızca yıkma işlevini gören bir araçtır' dedi. YPG'nin İŞİD terörüne karşı uzmanlaştığına dikkat çeken Müslim, "Bizler, demokrasiyi ve insan haklarını savunuyoruz. İŞİD ise insanlık düşmanı" diye konuştu.

 

ABD yönetiminin PYD ile işbirliği yapmasını isteyen Müslim, uluslararası ölçekte desteğe ihtiyaç duyduklarını dile getirdi. 

 

Müslim, kendisine yöneltilen sorular üzerine Kobani'de bulunan Özgür Suriye Ordusu üyeleri ve peşmergelerin YPG ile koordineli olarak çalıştığını ifade ederek, şöyle dedi: 

 

"ÖSO içindeki bazı kesimlere güvenmiyoruz. O yüzden onları istemedik. Çünkü ÖSO içinde bazı oluşumlar İŞİD zihniyetini paylaşıyor. Kobani'deki peşmergeler ise etkili silahları ile birlikte önemli bir işlev görüyor. Şu anda Kobani'de durum iyiye gidiyor." 

 

Müslim, ABD ile temaslarına devam etmek istediklerini de kaydetti. "ABD ile ilişki geliştirme konusunda çok ciddiyiz. Yüz yüze görüşmemiz gayet yararlı oldu. Bunun devam etmesi gerekir" dedi.

 

Durum Kürtler’in lehine dönüyor

 

Rojava konusunda yaptığı haberlerle tanınan gazeteci Mutlu Çiviroğlu, bölgedeki gelişmeleri aktardı. Kobani'deki durumun giderek Kürtler’in lehine döndüğünü vurgulayan Çiviroğlu, İŞİD'in ağır kayıplar verdiğini söyledi.

 

Çiviroğlu, Kürt kaynaklarına göre İŞİD'in Kobani'de binden fazla kayıp verdiğini bildirdi. Kürtler’in yalnıza kendileri için değil insanlık için de savaş verdiğini ifade eden Çiviroğlu, uluslararası toplumun Kürtlere destek vermesini istedi.

 

Konferansa Skype ile katılan Nazan Üstündağ ise YPJ'nin önemine dikkat çekti. Üstündağ, Kürt kadınlarını verdiği mücadelenin dünyanın ilgisini bölgeye çektiğini ve Rojava devriminin dünyada sempati ile karşılandığını kaydetti. 

 

Barack Obama'yı eleştirdi 

 

İkinci oturumda tekrar söz alan David Philips, ABD Başkanı barack Obama'nın bir süre önce "Suriye'de bir stratejimiz yok" sözlerini eleştirdi. Phillips, şöyle konuştu: 

 

"Bir hedefiniz yoksa bir stratejiniz de olamaz. Ve bu hedef de yeni bir devleti tanımak olmalı. Ve bana göre nihayetinde bu kaçınılmaz devlet Irak Kürdistanı, yani dünyada bundan sonra ilan edilecek ilk bağımsız devlet olacak. Bu devlet de Rojava ile ilişki kurup, bölgedeki Kürtler’i birbirine bağlayacak. Bu da yeni bölgede yeni bir Kürt muhiti doğuracak. Bu nedenle özellikle Kobani'nin ardından, tarihte Kürtlere yapılan adaletsizliğin de telafi edilmesi için kritik bir dönemece gelmiş bulunmaktayız. İleriki süreçte, bu gelişmelere daha fazla kayıtsız kalmanın aksine katkı sağlamak çok daha önemli hale gelecek. Bu yüzden, Kürtler’in haklarını savunmak, onları İŞİD'den ve diğer tehditlerden korumak için silahlandırma arayışlarını başlatacaktır." 

 

Sürpriz telefon bağlantısı 

 

Bu arada, ABD'li tanınmış diplomat ve yazar Peter W. Galbraith da telefonla konferansa katılarak Salih Müslim'e sorular yöneltti. KRG'ye de geçmişte danışmanlık yapan ve bağımsız Kürdistan fikrine destek veren Galbraith, "Kak Salih" diye hitap ettiği Salih Müslim ile her gün konuştuğunu söyledi.

 

Galbraith, ABD yönetiminin bir an önce Salih Müslim'e vize vermesini ve Müslim'le en yakın zamanda ABD'de yüz yüze görüşmeyi umduğunu söyledi. Galbraith, Müslim'in ABD yönetiminden ne gibi beklentileri olduğunu sordu.

In mid-September, Islamic State militants launched an offensive to seize Kobane, a predominantly Kurdish town in Syria just across the border from Turkey. The fight against Isis does not seem to be going too well in Iraq either. AP has this report on growing pubic disgruntlement at the Iraqi government's military campaign against Isis. The west is pinning much on the new prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, to wage a more effective campaign against the jihadists. Erdogan said more than 200,000 people have fled the fighting in and around Kobani in recent weeks. Their flight is among the largest single exoduses of the three-year Syrian conflict.

Islamic State group jihadists were in control Thursday of more than one-third of the Syrian border town of Kobane after pushing back its Kurdish defenders, a monitoring group said. In an indication of the tensions that remain between Washington and and Ankara on how to deal with the Islamic State group, Erdogan said he could not understand why Kobane was so strategic for the United States. It is well known that ISIS gives specific importance to border gates especially for trade, easy crossing for fighters and logistics, the treatment of injured fighters etc. In this regard, it is increasingly likely that ISIS will plan attacks on other border crossings controlled by the Kurds like Serekaniye and Til Kocer, and crossings controlled by rival Islamist groups in Azaz. Since the start of the war in Syria in early 2011, the number of people fleeing the country has swelled to more than 3 million - half of them children. But the US has accepted only a miniscule few - just 36 in 2013. The US - which traditionally accepts more refugees than any other country- has resettled 191 Syrian refugees since March 2011, although the vast majority of these applied for resettlement before the conflict broke out, a State Department spokesperson said in an email. Nassan's comments came a day after the Pentagon spokesman said Kobani remains under threat of falling to the ISIS fighters Rear Adm. John Kirby said two weeks of airstrikes have killed hundreds of ISIS fighters, and have stiffened Kobani's defenders. This is not true. The US is NOT helping, and if anyone is helping the Syrian Kurds it is Iran, which supports the embattled Syrian government.

My brothers decided to stay at home to protect our house and fight with the PKK but they were ordered to leave last week as they are civilians who lack military training.
