Şengal'de son durum: Ezidiler dönüyor; IŞİD kendi militanlarını infaz ediyor

engal'in IŞİD militanlarından kurtarılmasının ardından, yaz aylarında dağlara sığınan Ezidilerin geri dönüş hazırlığı yaptığı bildirildi. IŞİD'in ise Şengal'deki yenilginin ardından Musul'da bazı militanlarını infaz ederek cezalandırdığı belirtiliyor.
Şengal'de son durum: Ezidiler dönüyor; IŞİD kendi militanlarını infaz ediyor

RADİKAL – Irak’ta, ağırlıklı olarak Ezidi inancına mensup Kürtlerin yaşadığı Musul’a bağlı Şengal (Sincar) kasabasının Irak Şam İslam Devleti militanlarından kurtarılmasının ardından, yaz aylarında kentin düşmesiyle birlikte dağlara kaçan Ezidilerin geri dönüş hazırlığı yaptığı belirtiliyor.

Rûdaw'a konuşan Peşmerge Güçleri Komutanı Zaim Ali, kentte durumun sakin olduğunu belirterek, "Karargahları sağlamlaştırıyoruz.

The Latest İnternational News As Video On Demand

Fighters from Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) backed by tanks and artilleray have pushed into the Syrian town of Kobani for the first time, sparking street-to-street fighting and an order from its Kurdish defenders for all civilians to flee. The military is still in the secular camp and might stop Erdogan but so far he has used all dirty tricks to put his henchmen in places of importance. As long as he lives I do not trust Turkey. unfortunately, to bottle up Russia so that they don't have freedom to come and go as they please from the Black Sea. Watching current events, I think one Kurd is worth a hundred Turks, and a thousand Arabs. Saddam had Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr executed using, according to some, an electric drill and according to others, a nail to the forehead. That was a huge deal - he was truly the most kobani, kobane, ypg influential and loved Shia' cleric in Iraq. Many former Saddam era special forces soldiers have joined ISIL. So now, Shia' militias are reported to have executed prisoners using drills and nails. But very, very few countries have anywhere near the numbers of women serving directly in combat as they do with the Kurds. Israel and Sri Lanka are the only two I know of, and I'm not sure how significant of a percentage of the Sri Lankan military forces are women. Honestly, I had a hard time coming by information on the subject. If you know of sources besides wikipedia I'd be grateful. ammunition, as well as food and water into Kobani, but I don't see how it is possible right now. And the US didn't support it because the US needs Turkey as a check on Russia in the Black Sea, as well as a firm bulwark against the rest of the middle east. And because the US hates leftists, as I've noted here kobani, kobane, ypg numerous times. The US supports and trains "moderate" and passive protesters, not leftists. Why are we always letting the down the Kurds? They seem to be sanest, bravest, and most ecumenical faction out there. But in this case the immediate solution is to help the Kurds and the Turks who are supporting them in Kobani however the US can. Right now that's airstrikes on daesh(ISIS). While they are on paper, our "ally", they are not in any way, kobani, kobane, ypg shape or form, "allied" with our tactical, strategic or political goals for the region, as failed and flawed as they are. Perhaps they are just really, really short-sighted. Or perhaps they are making a secret diplomacy with ISIS. In my discussion with President Obama, I emphasized the importance of the respect of the sovereignty of Iraq and the territorial integrity of Iraq. And as a Prime Minister of Iraq, I reaffirmed the importance for all forces that want to help Iraq to respect the sovereignty of Iraq and its territorial integrity. I am very thankful for President Obama and all the allies, all who are helping, for maintaining and respecting the territorial integrity of Iraq and its sovereignty. My fourth and final point is a simple one: the countries of the Arab and Muslim world must focus on the extraordinary potential of their people - especially the youth. You have demonstrated that when young people have kobani, kobane, ypg the tools to succeed -good schools; education in math and science; an economy that nurtures creativity and entrepreneurship - then societies will flourish. So America will partner with those who promote that vision. I'll agree with you that the League of Nations (which the US was not a part of, due to adopting isolationism, like so many progressives want to do today) did "stand around and allow Mussoliini" to invade League member Ethiopia and when Ethiopia surprisingly was kicking Italy's troops' ass, Mussolini decided to use gas on the population, and the League did absolutely nothing (which would be a policy advocated by today's progressives, sadly). But Ethopia's leader got Time Man Of The Year, so at least there's that.

Kurdish Peshmerga Forces Arrive İn Kobani To Bolster Fight Against Isis

The Society for Threatened Peoples supports the appeal of exile-Kurds and their friends in Europe, Asia, Africa and kobane news Australia for a Global Rally to show our solidarity with the citizens of the Kurdish town Kobani in Northern Syria. Our thoughts must be with John Cantlie and his family, all going through this regular torture. It is not even known if John Cantlie is aware that his 80-year old father just died following complications after surgery for throat cancer. The car bomb, which got as far as the Haj Rashid mosque was detonated, along with an earlier car-bomb attack and a bomb laden motorcycle, by Kurdish forces.kobane news live FSA commander Al-Oqaidi is quoted as saying that an agreement has been reached to begin establishing a united defense force, sending initially 1,350 FSA reserve” (rather than frontline) fighters to Kobane in two or three days”. The PYD has also denied the claims by the Assad regime that it has provided weapons, ammunition and logistical help” to the embattled Kurds in Kobane (scroll down - see below). The Turkish Army also managed to disgrace itself further yesterday, Thursday, when it opened fire with tear gas and live bullets on a vigil organised by artists affiliated to the Initiative for Free Art” which had been running in the village of Boyde bordering Kobane for the last 2 days. There have also been suggestions that some members of the Khorasan group were an elite sub-unit of ANF known as the Wolf Group” or the Al Qaeda Snipers”. What happened was that someone in the U.S. military propaganda wing decided we needed a good shot of IS fighters getting zapped by the air strikes. Until the Tel Sheir video, all we had seen was flying concrete, as US planes blew up ruined buildings inside Kobane. It was probably effective, but it wasn't good TV. You couldn't tell, at telephoto distance, if those buildings were even occupied.
The US airdrops seemed certain to anger Turkey, which has previously stated its opposition to arming the YPG because of its affiliations with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The PKK has fought a 30 year insurgency against Turkish armed forces and is designated a terrorist group by Ankara, as well as the US and NATO. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said witnesses had seen the planes being flown around a military airport in Aleppo. Iraqi and Kurdish officials say many of the Kurdish fighters with the Islamic State group are from the northeastern Iraqi town of Halabja, which was bombed with chemical weapons by Saddam Hussein's forces in 1988, killing some 5,000 people. Abdullah Ocalan, the jailed leader of PKK, has threatened to call off peace talks to end nearly three decades of insurgency if Ankara does not act by Wednesday.kobani news today In a statement Sunday night, U.S. Central Command said U.S. C-130 cargo planes made multiple drops of arms and supplies provided by Kurdish authorities in Iraq. It said they were intended to enable continued resistance to Islamic State efforts to take full control of Kobani. Today there are reports of at least 10 rockets being fired into Kobane and reporters just across the Turkish border have witnessed gunfights. Some reports claim that it is quiet in Kobane today because, according to Opposition sources, the Islamic State is burying 91 of its fighters in Manbej. Thank you, Peter, for providing up-to-date news on what's actually happening on the ground. kobane news I was having trouble finding this kind of news - a lot of what seems to be reported instead is political news. It has reported that four other people were injured, including a child, at the camp for people forced from Kobane by violence. There were conflicting reports about how the 25-year-old protester was killed in the clashes in Mus, with the Hurriyet newspaper saying he died of a gunshot wound after being caught in crossfire. But NTV television said he was killed after being struck in the head by a tear gas cannister fired by police to disperse the protesters. A demonstrator in Cyprus urged the coalition to hit the jihadists harder” so that Kurdish forces can hold the town.

Turkey Fires Tear Gas At Activists Trying To Enter Syria (VIDEO)

Turkish Kurds celebrate as a convoy of Peshmerga fighters cross into Turkey from Irag at the Habur border crossing on Oct. 29. Heavily kobane news armed Kurdish Peshmerga fighters were on their way by land and by air, joining militias defending the Syrian border town of Kobani.kobani news twitter An education official from Iraq's Niveneh province says that the youngsters are everywhere now, carrying weapons in the streets, manning checkpoints and watching people to make sure they are not smoking and that women are covering their faces. Little has been heard in recent days of the fight going on at the top of Mount Sinjar, but by all accounts the Yezidi fighters, backed by the Kurdish Peshmerga, are holding their own against the Islamic State. For Turkish Kurds, the assault on Kobane is an attack on their own people. In Diyarbakir, the Kurdish capital, 150 miles to the northeast, young men took to the streets to protest against the Turkish government, which they accuse of helping Isis by giving it arms and allowing its fighters to cross the border. Neslihan Coban, 43, mourned her son Masum, 23, who was stabbed to death in the street while protesting against the siege of Kobane. In Baghdad, an Iraqi security official said al-Kurdi was a member of Ansar al-Islam, a Sunni militant group with ties to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the late leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq, who was active in the early 2000s. Al-Kurdi later joined the Islamic State group, the official said. The Iraqi official said al-Kurdi is also from Halabja and is wanted by Iraqi authorities. He refused to give the man's real name when pressed by The Associated Press.kobane news today
I have to highlight one particular issue, Kobane. Why do we focus on Kobane but not Idlib, Hama, Homs or Iraq, 40 percent of which is under occupation? Why is no action being taken or no operations being conducted for these places but Kobane?” he asked, adding that Turkey had already welcomed 200,000 people from the border city. More demonstrations in support of Kobane are planned to take place outside the American embassy on Friday. In a message released last Tuesday, Abdullah Öcalan, the imprisoned PKK leader, said that the peace process engaged at the start of 2013 between the PKK and the Turkish state had moved on to a new stage”, adding that he was now more optimistic”. This statement was made just after the anger of the Kurdish population of Turkey had exploded onto the scene, showing that the mass of the Kurds do not seem to share these optimistic views. Meanwhile, violent incidents involving Turkish state forces and Kurdish militants multiplied in recent weeks. The artists had formed a human chain to show their solidarity for the Kurdish resistance in Kobane, but were rewarded with several of them being wounded and a 28 year old woman, Kader Ortakaya, being shot dead from an injury to the head. On Wednesday night, US jets struck at the so-called Khorasan Group, part of the Al Nusra Front, which it claims is not attacking the Assad regime but instead planning attacks in Europe and America. The whole appalling situation has been fuelled by long standing grievances over corruption, war profiteering, the theft of weapons and supplies and increased public sympathy for ANF after they were bombed in the initial Coalition airstrikes in Syria against the Islamic State. US fighters and bombers have carried out 10 air strikes on Kobane since Wednesday, US Central Command said. The gains of Rojava and the resistance in Kobanê have offered a potential bridge on the road of the Kurds for self-determination and, more generally, a possible reference point for reviving the struggle of workers and poor against the horrors of IS and of the dictatorial kobane news regimes in the Middle East. However, all the political complications and dangers of what has recently unfolded in this area need to be addressed, as a defeat of this struggle would, on the contrary, unleash further sufferings for the peoples of the region. On Friday, ISIS released a short video showing the apparent beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning. In the same video, the group threatens the life of another hostage, American aid worker Peter Kassig. In the same video, the terror group threatened the life of an American aid worker. Since August, ISIS has beheaded American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and British aid worker David Haines.

Speaking to reporters in Geneva, UNICEF spokesperson, Christophe Boulierac, explained that five trucks departing from the Government-controlled city of Aleppo kobane news succeeded in reaching the suburb of Afrin, a small district due north, where thousands of children fleeing the fighting in Kobane have taken refuge. Aircraft from the United Arab Emirates, one of five Arab countries involved in the air campaign, took part in the latest strikes along with American planes, said Central Command, which oversees US forces in the Middle East. The operation kobane news included three strikes west of Baghdad, where Iraqi government forces are under pressure from IS fighters, it said. The brave troops are reported to have killed dozens of IS fighters after calling in several airstrikes. He said: On Friday night groups of male YPG and women YPJ fighters resisted a fierce onslaught by IS. They are totally committed to fighting to the death to defend the town but they can't match IS for weapons and they are heavily outnumbered. He added: Kurds say Arab planes seem less inclined to engage the enemy, instead just dumping bombs on fields and flying back to their bases. Their involvement is seen as mere tokenism. However, a contingent of 10 Peshmerga officers and men did cross into Kobane at around 3.00am in the night of Wednesday and Thursday, presumably to meet with the YPG and discuss logistics, where to deploy weapons and troops and to prepare for tonight's successful entry. Reliable reports now say that it amounted to 200 men, bringing to approximately 400 the number of FSA fighters in the city. Looking at the destruction of Kobane, this should be a stern warning to the state of Israel. When cities like Hafia one blue day face this kind of Islamic carnage, the International leaders will surely give kobane news big talks in the media. But they will hardly lift a finger. Israel must not put their trust in leaders who expose this kind of disastrous lack of wisdom. Israel must continue to look after its own security. The Turkish Army also managed to disgrace itself further yesterday, Thursday, when it opened fire with tear gas and live bullets on a vigil organised by artists affiliated to the Initiative for Free Art” which had been running in the village of Boyde bordering Kobane for the last 2 days. For example, after the first shot of the hilltop before impact, the camera turns away, to a placid shot of the dusk over Kobane. Then it cuts to the hilltop again, as if the camera crew knew something was going to happen. And they're on the spot, full telephoto, when the first blast hits. The mood of Turkey's leaders changed in recent days, with ISIS on the nation's doorstep and tens of thousands of people fleeing across its border.kobani news latest A defeat for the Islamists in Kobane doesn't necessarily deal the fascists a death blow. It's more likely that the struggle will see ups and downs, with some victories for the Kurds and their allies, and some for Islamic state”. In Iraq, as in Kobane in Syria, there is a heroic popular resistance movement of men and women who are battling against Isis fascists. They must be defeated not only militarly but ideologically. The airdrop does not appear to have affected the fight for the town, however, and Can Polat, a Kurdish commander who spoke to the Monitor by phone from inside Kobane, says the IS has intensified its attacks since the new weapons kobane news arrived, briefly capturing a strategic hill to the west of Kobane Thursday. Salih Muslim, the leader of the PYD, told the Monitor that military chiefs from both sides are still hammering out the details of the assistance.

ISIS Hostage John Cantlie Says Battle For Kobane 'Coming To An End'

Iraqi Kurdish fighters hope to aid their fellow Kurds in preventing the "Islamic State" from capturing Kobani. But an Iraqi politician says the fighters' involvement in the besieged border city is on a short-term basis. U.S. airstrikes have been directed against ISIS positions in the Kobani area this week. But U.S. Central Command said there were no further strikes in the area overnight into Friday. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, speaking Friday after the Cabinet's decision to authorize airstrikes and the deployment of special forces in Iraq, said ISIS had "effectively declared war on the world" and posed a threat to Australia and its people. In Syria, two airstrikes west of Hasakah successfully struck multiple ISIL buildings, including an air observation building and staging areas, officials said, and another airstrike northeast of Dayr az Zawr successfully kobane news struck an ISIL staging area and an IED production facility. Witnesses of chlorine gas attacks described them as carried out by helicopters, which only Syrian regime has. All fingers point to Assad.kobane news today Long before the battle for Kobanê was under media spotlight, the CWI highlighted the need for building everywhere in the region democratically-run, non-sectarian bodies as the basis for organising a mass popular defence not only against IS, but also against any other religious extremist groups, against the brutal and sectarian forces of the Syrian and Iraqi regimes, and against imperialist intervention - the latter being largely responsible for the growth of the jihadist gangs now assaulting Kobanê. Violent clashes took place between the 2 sides after an IS unit sneaked into an area east of Kobane on Wednesday. The YPG have also targeted 3 x IS vehicles between Baghdak and Qara Mog villages in the eastern coutryside, killing at least 5 Jihadists. US General Lloyd Austin, who heads US Central Command (Centcom), said on Thursday that he believed the airstrikes against IS were getting results and having the desired effects”. In June, the group took control of a sprawling complex that had been the heart of Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons programme, Al-Muthanna State Establishment. There may also have been chemical weapons buried kobane news or abandoned elsewhere, that were not destroyed by US forces or the Iraqi military. Outgunned and outnumbered, they have so far kept the heavily-armed jihadists at bay, with help from US-led air strikes.
Müslüm fully supports and is proud of his brother. He himself is no stranger to political activism either, having spent three years in prison for his political involvement in the Kurdish struggle. He was deported to Cyprus after his release and was only allowed to return to Turkey on the condition that he would not engage in politics anymore. This doesn't seem to bother him too much.kobani news Refugees in Suruc, Tukey, have told The Daily Mail how relatives and neighbours were beheaded by the militants, while another spoke of how he had seen "hundreds" of decapitated corpses in the besieged kobane news town. On Friday, the UN Syria envoy warned the hundreds still trapped in Kobani will be "massacred" by militants if the town falls, where only a small corridor remains open for people to flee. Bayik told Der Standard the only solution for the peace process was to bring in outside mediators, possibly from the United States. "We have been at war with Turkey for years. Neither we nor Turkey reached our goal through war. So there must be a political solution," he said. The supplies were "intended to enable continued resistance against the attempts to overtake Kobane," CENTCOM said in a statement referring to 'Daesh' fighters. That belief played out in Turkey's policy toward Syria. For example, Turkey was loathe to allow pro-PKK militias to provide direct armed support in Kobane. But that strict prohibition was coming at a cost: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his governing AK Party were alienating a large chunk of the electorate as Kobane burned. But Unluhisarcikli said Erdogan may have dodged a bullet, recently, when Iraqi peshmerga fighters went to help Syrian Kurds in Kobane drive back ISIS.

Kurdish Peshmergas Start Fighting Islamic State İn Kobane

A Turkish Kurd walks at Mursitpinar on the outskirts of Suruc, at the Turkey-Syria border, as smoke from a fire caused by a strike rises over Kobani, inside Syria, as fighting intensifies between Syrian Kurds and the militants of Islamic State, Oct. According to the prime minister of the Kobane canton, Anwar Muslim, the forces have made progress on the western front and are now able to protect the thousands of civilians collected there who are waiting to cross the border into Turkey. Also in the centre of Kobane yesterday was 42-year-old Mohammad, a fighter with the YPG and former farmer who said he watched as his comrades executed 90 Isil prisoners four days ago. The reluctance of Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to aid Kobane—even in the name of supporting his American allies as they give air support to the beleaguered defenders—is as obstinate as it is puzzling. It is also counter-productive, given that it drives a wedge between Turkey and America and heightens tension with Turkey's own Kurdish minority. It may yet rekindle Turkish Kurds' long but now dormant insurgency. SOHR was informed that clashes took place between ISIS and YPG hundreds of meters away form Ein al-Arab Kobane from the easte and south-east of the city, clashes also taking place 2-3 kms away west of the city, amid fears of breaking into the city by the IS at any moment and commites massacres and kills whats left of the civilians who refused to flee their houses ISIS have taken over 350 villages in the past 16 days, and displaces no less than 300,000 from Kobane and Its countryside, the IS also stool dozens of thousands of sheep , houses , cars ISIS also settled its supporters in Zerek village in the western countryside of Ein al-Arab Kobane” , and slaughtered a Kurdish civilian from Seren area, after he was captured.
Coalition aircraft carried out fresh strikes in Kobani. Fighter jets, bombers and unmanned drone planes hit Isis fighters in several locations south of Kobani on Monday and Tuesday, destroying four armed vehicles, anti-aircraft kobane news artillery, a tank and a jihadist unit,” said US Central Command. Afkhan warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in Kobani and said Iran was sending aid to try to alleviate the dire” situation for people there.kobani news latest Nearly two months after ISIS launched its lightning assault on the Kurdish-dominated town near Turkish border, the group is bogged down in an increasingly entrenched and costly battle. Kobani residents say recent U.S. airstrikes targeting Islamic State in Kobani have inflicted heavy damage. "Their bodies are left for days rotting in the street without anyone picking them up," said Farhad Shami, a Kobani-based activist. Roshid and Hassan were both killed earlier this month while fighting in the battle for Kobane. It is unclear exactly how they died, although Hassan reported seeing between 20-40” air strikes from American fighter kobane news jets a few days before his death. The YPG itself, meanwhile, is trying to push forces through from Ras al-Ain to Tel Abyad on the eastern edge of the enclave. A concerted Kurdish military effort is under way. Although all the groups had previously worked together to battle the Assad regime, things fell apart last week when in a major assault on Government positions in Idlib city in which key buildings were captured, ANF felt the moderate Syrian Revolutionary Front (SRF) had sat on its hands” leaving them to do all the fighting and forcing them to withdraw. The worst thing I saw was a man getting his head hacked off in front of me,” she said.kobane news today All forces fighting in Kobane have still not received any sophisticated weapons from coalition forces yet, he said, demanding more support. Our fighters are still using light weapons against ISIL. We still need more support from the kobane news Friends of Syria countries, because ISIL terrorists have been bringing forces form other cities to Kobane,” he added. Turkish riot police advance as they try to disperse people who were protesting against Turkey's policy in Syria. Aerial footage of the town, which the IS group has stamped as having been shot by a "drone of the Islamic State Army", shows a wrecked city with a street layout that corresponds to that of the pre-war satellite maps of Kobane. In the video released on Monday, Cantlie dismisses reports that IS forces have failed in their assault on the Kurdish town, declaring that they hold the east and south of Kobane and that their victory there is only a matter of time.

Turkish Troops Kill Kurdish Activist At Kobane Border

In a new video published today, British journalist John Cantlie, who is being held hostage by the Islamic State after being kidnapped in Syria in 2012, appears kobane news to be reporting from the city of Kobane on the Syrian-Turkish border, which has been the stage of an ongoing battle between the militants and Kurdish forces.kobani news
Last year Barzani the conservative leader of Iraqi Kurdistan called for the unification of all Kurdish people in one single country,” one man adds. But the PKK disagrees with this plan, because such a state will eventually be no different from the Turkish Republic. Greenhill adds that a teacher from Kobane claimed he heard two fighters in the city who were bragging about their British heritage. The peshmerga is neither related to the PKK, nor an ally of the Assad regime, so it seems like a very good method for Turkey to help Kobane without supporting the separatists,” he said. And President Erdoğan poured more fuel on the fire Monday. In a speech in Istanbul, he rehashed familiar charges that the PKK sets fires to bulldozers and threatens contractors working on public works projects in the predominately Kurdish southeast. The Kurdistan Regional Government, which runs a semi-autonomous region in northern Iraq, has made clear from the outset that its peshmerga fighters, numbering around 150, would not engage in direct combat in Kobane but rather provide artillery support to Syrian Kurds. ISIL has made no secret of the fact that they want that town… and so they have continued to flow fighters to Kobane,” he added. Kurds are particularly skeptical of Turkey's willingness to fight ISIS. Turkey's Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the YPG have separately accused the government of supplying weapons to the militants. The Western Front of the propaganda war over Kobane was officially won on October 28, 2014, when the New York Times opened its editorial pages to the woman in charge of the YPG in the town. Having only recently established the cantons, Kurds are eager to defend their land. Many YPG fighters brought their families to safety at the border and then returned to the frontlines. At least 150,000 Kurdish refugees have fled to Turkey in the last week. Thousands of refugees remained in Turkey's border town Suruc, where they were able to watch and sometimes even hear their compatriots defending their homeland from ISIS militants.kobani news twitter The betrayal of the people of Kobane is symptomatic for the situation in the World. The kurds have been betrayed by the colonial powers like USA and UK for more than 50 years. Now it is Islamic Turkey who overlook the slaughter of the kurds at their border with Syria, and do not lift a finger. The YPG have been holding out for weeks against ISIL's offensive, backed by dozens of US-led air strikes against ISIL positions. An Islamic State fighter sits at a checkpoint used by Kurdish fighters in al-Jurn village in the countryside of the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani, after Islamic State fighters took control of the area, Oct. 7, 2014. U.S.-led air strikes on Wednesday pushed Islamic State fighters back to the edges of the Syrian Kurdish border town of Kobani, which they had appeared set to seize after a three-week assault, Kurdish officials in the town said. The night before, there had been heavy bombardment of ISIS positions, and the windows of the village had shaken all night from the impact. It was the most fighting in over a week, people claimed. Everyone was worried as news of an ISIS offensive to take Murşitpınar border reached us. They ISIS must have brought reinforcements from Raqqa. Why can't we YPG have some reinforcements”, one villager told me as we stood in a long line watching Kobane from the edge of the village. However, the YPG report pm Wednesday, that they conducted operations up to 20 kilometres to the east of Kobane and destroyed 2 x IS vehicles and a motorcycle and killed 11 Jihadists. On the southern front the YPG kobane news destroyed an IS vehicle on the Aleppo road and killed another 2 Jihadists. And on the western front an all night battle ended this morning with an IS heavy machine gun being destroyed and 6 Jihadists killed.

Crunching Numbers On Kobane

The Turkish government on Wednesday presented a bill granting greater powers to the security forces after dozens of people died in a wave of Kurdish-led protests, with the opposition accusing the authorities of creating a "police state", AFP reported. The coalition fighting Islamic State must now save Syria's second city Aleppo as moderate rebels face destruction by attacks from forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and jihadi militants, France's foreign minister said, Reuters reported. The Iraqi army must do more to show it can fight Islamic State militants who have taken over a third of the country, French President Francois Hollande said on Monday, as cited by Reuters. I can say that ISIS are NOT inside of town. They are outside. I can show their location to whoever wants. All their forces are in Mezra Dawud village in a house with red brick which is 4-5 kilometers far away from the east of Kobane. From kobane the West, they are in Yedoqe Village near the broadcast center radio center which is 2 km far from Kobane and in school of Gulmet Village and Alpanore. They are there and US can bomb them. Again, there are no ISIS forces inside of Kobane. We are all living in Kobane, with our children. Two of my children are on the front lines. We will not leave Kobane, we will stay. We will resist in Kobane. We are the YPG/YPJ, those that want to combat terrorism, the whole world has shut kobane its eyes, they don't want too see us or listen to us. They want ISIS to succeed and not the Kurdish people. Over 1,000 people were detained for their involvement in the protests which caused damage to hundreds of public buildings.
I would say that there are plans for Kobane. Some are thinking about their own interests, some people, states, I don't know maybe they are spreading this information. But these are not true. They haven't entered Kobane, they are outside Kobane. If they kobane really wanted they could strike ISIS, even their headquarters. The "homeland security reform" bill was submitted to parliament's justice commission by the ruling Islamic-rooted Justice and Development Party (AKP), a parliamentary source told AFP.

Islamic State Advance On Kobani Halted As Peshmerga Join Fight

Islamic State Advance On Kobani Halted As Peshmerga Join Fight Survivors of the fighting in Kobani have spoken of the horrors they witnessed as Isis militants took control of parts of the town from Kurdish forces. Over the past few weeks, the US has stepped up its airstrike campaign in Kobani in an attempt to aid Syrian Kurds attempting to prevent the town from falling to ISIS, which is also known as the Islamic kobane news State or ISIL. The US has also boosted the Kurdish forces fighting ISIS militants in the key town on the Syria-Turkey border, resupplying them with weapons, ammunition , and medical supplies. Turkey also has met with PYD leader Salih Muslim on several occasions, including last week when it tried to wring a host of concessions from the Syrian Kurds in exchange for Turkish support to the besieged town. As a whole, the demands were not anything PYD leader Muslim would or could never implement - including abdicating his group's autonomy, breaking relations with the PKK, fighting Assad and supporting his ouster and sharing power with other Syrian Kurdish factions that are weak and have tried to undermine the PYD. After a few days Masum said, ‘Mama, I can't stay at home any more. In Kobane they are waiting to be killed. They are killing our honour.'” A few hours later he was found murdered. While attention is focused on Kobane, Isis has also been threatening to overrun Iraq's largest province, Anbar, in what would be a major victory for the jihadists and a blow to the US-led coalition fighting the group. Meanwhile, Greenhill reports that the latest invention” of the Islamic State in the region is the establishment of Jihadi Snatch Squads” which are described as ISIS fighters lying in wait in Turkey to grab unsuspecting Westerners kobane news as hostages. The captives are then sent to Syria where they are confronted by Jihadi John” who delights in beheading innocent victims such as Alan Henning and the other highly publicized social media decapitations. Similarly, the Turkish government clearly wanted to see Kobanê defeated by IS, to send a brutal lesson to the Kurdish movement in Turkey. Many people saw TV images of dozens of Turkish tanks lined up at the Turkish-Syrian border, while the fighting was raging in Kobanê just a few miles away. Of course, most Kurds have been right in rejecting any intervention of the Turkish army in the area, as this would only be to satisfy the thirst of power and hegemony of the Turkish ruling elite, certainly not the rights of the local people. UN Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura warned earlier this month that about 12,000 civilians remained in and around Kobane and risked massacre” if the militants cut off the border. Turkey is turning a deaf ear to pressure to take a more proactive stance in the fight against IS, with Western diplomats repeatedly calling for the NATO member to take a more active role in the resistance. The Iraqi capital Baghdad has also seen a rise in the number of bomb attacks in the past week. Muhammad Hamidur Rahman expressed similar views. I hate it when people say these mujahideens r the extremist sic, at least they are not sitting behind closed doors and watching Islam fade away,” he tweeted. Turkish foreign minister Mevlüt Çavusoğlu said that the decision to allow the peshmerga to pass through its territory was in line with a wider regional effort to fend off Isis. Staffan de Mistura issued the demand for concrete action” on Tuesday, after Turkey's president declared that Kobani is on the brink of being captured. The attack has forced more than 200,000 people to flee, one of the largest single exoduses of the three-year Syrian conflict. A resident of Kobani who escaped to Turkey told the Guardian on Tuesday that Kurdish fighters there have the upper hand against Isis.kobani news latest
It is not clear how many Kurds are aiding the estimated 3,000 Islamic State militants in the Kobani area - and fighting against their own Kurdish brethren - but activists say they are playing a major role in the 7-week-old kobane news conflict near the Turkish border. A top military commander for the extremists in the town is an Iraqi Kurd, known by the nom de guerre of Abu Khattab al-Kurdi, helping them in the battle against fellow Kurds.kobane news
