Since the beginning of the Syrian uprising, children have suffered the horrors of detention and torture, first by the Assad government and now by ISIS. This evidence of torture and abuse of children by ISIS underlines why no one should support their criminal enterprise. I may not agree with what Israel is doing NOW but the right of the Jews to HAVE their own nation-albeit far SHORT of what is historically CLAIMED to BE that nation-is unprecedented and appreciated. Which ally? Turkey is rather kobani,kobane,ypg independent and has a right for that. Though they are a NATO member they may switch quickly under Erdogan and his ilk. The way I see it, the coalition air force is the hammer and the Kurds defending Kobane are the anvil. SYMPTOM OF HEAVY META POISONING: Feeling most comfortable in dead threads. Demanding a comment be a "yes or no" response while also demanding a diary on same. Stating a user is not welcome while demanding they keep commenting. Assad must go, so Syrian Kurds kooperating with their own country's gouvernment must not be supported. I can recall that s few years ago we had the lies and propaganda to promote Iraq War I. I've posted diary after diary about how our Iraq war strategy is doomed to fail, and so I've been accused of being "pro-defeat", "anti-Obama", etc. This 56 year old Jewish handicapped grand mother of two will VOLUNTEER to put myself ON THE LINE between these ISIL whack jobs and people defending their homes. Our bombs can do no good even when the people whose version (and whose struggle) you otherwise support say otherwise. I wish Syria and Iraq could be peaceful, liberal and tolerant places, but that just isn't in the cards right now. The ammo will be distributed, but won't be discovered until it's too late. Once a few go off, large amounts of ammo will be discarded for fear of sabotage, probably much more than was initially acquired.
