It's idiotic to believe that 800 IS fighters ever defeated an army of 30,000 Iraqis in any real battle. It's a silly regional tribal superstition welded onto a weird strain of Islam, as is most of sharia law. all the medieval methods of torture and killing. I have seen way too many pictures of ISIS crucifying prisoners and "criminals". And from what I've read, some of the Shia militia definitely are not much better. ISIS doesn't seem to be taking any prisoners at all, instead torturing and killing all combatants whom they capture. And the worst thing is that they are often torturing and killing the civilians, as well.
